What We Believe

.: We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writing and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

.: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in essence, while distinct in personality and function.
(Ex. 20:2-3; Matt. 28:19)

.: We believe in God’s direct creation of the universe without use of pre-existent material and apart from any process of evolution whatever, according to the Genesis account. (Gen. 1:1-31; Ex. 20:11; Col. 1:16-17)

.: We believe that Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of Mary, a virgin, and is true God and true man.
(Jn. 1:1, 14; Lk. 1:35; Isa. 7:14; Gal. 4:4)

.: We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as High Priest and Advocate. (Matt. 28:1-7; Acts 1:8-11)

.: We believe the Holy Spirit to be the agent of the new birth. (Jn. 3:5; Eph. 1:13, 2:20, Rom 8:9, 12:6-8)

.: We believe man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical but spiritual death. Men are born sinners with a sin nature. (Gen. 1:26-27, 3:1-6; Rom. 5:12-19, 3:10-13)

.: We believe that Jesus Christ died as the substitutionary sacrifice for all men. (II Cor. 5:14-21; Jn. 3:5-8)

.: We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Spirit. (Jn. 1:12-13, 3:3-16; Acts 16:31; Eph. 2:8-9)

.: We believe in the eternal security of the believer; it is impossible for one born into the family of God ever to be lost.
(Jn. 6:39, 49; 10:28-29; Rom. 8:35-39; Jude 1; I Peter 1:5)

.: We believe in “that blessed hope”-the personal, premillennial, pretribulational and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(Titus 2:13; Jn. 14:1-3; I Thess. 4:13-18; I Cor. 15:51-58; II Thess. 2:1-13)

.: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and everlasting punishment of the lost.
(Matt. 25:31-46; Lk. 16:19-31; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 21:1-8)

Salvation…

Life’s Most Important Question!

If you were to die today, and were to meet God, and God should ask you:

“Why should I let you into My heaven?”

What would you say?

Let us share some good news with you!

Fact 1:  Heaven (eternal life) is a free GIFT based on God’s GRACE.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23

Heaven cannot be earned or deserved.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9

Grace refers to what God wants to give you which you do not deserve.  AMAZING, BUT TRUE.  God wants you to go to heaven!  Eternal life is a FREE GIFT!

Fact 2:  Man in himself does not deserve the gift of Heaven.  Why?

Man is a sinner by nature and by choice.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”  Romans 3:24

Man is incapable of doing good according to God’s standards.

There is none that doeth good, no, not one”  Romans 2:12

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” James 2:10

Man Cannot Save Himself.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us”  Titus 3:5

Fact 3:  There is penalty for sin

“The Lord…is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”  II Peter 3:9

Man’s Basic Needs Are:

Forgiveness

Eternal Life

Peace with God

He tries religion, good deeds, materialism, acclaim, etc., to satisfy his needs, but these do not solve the problem of sin.

God is Love. He has the solution!

Fact 4:  Jesus Christ is your only way to Heaven.

Who is He?  He is the infinite God-man.

“in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us”  John 1: 1, 14

What did He do?  He paid the penalty of our sins.  He purchased a place in heaven for us.

“God commended His love toward us, In that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, The just for the unjust, That He might bring us to God”  I Peter 3:10

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me”  John 14:6

Joel 3:14, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”
